Type 368-M, Transmission Measuring Set is a compact instrument designed to fulfill all type of requirements for determination of signal levels, insertion losses, Transmission losses, Return losses in cable circuits in Audio Telephony during testing and maintenance of telecommunication lines. It has two inbuilt arrangements - Level Oscillator and Level Meter, which can be used independently in three input and output impedances i.e 470, 600 and 1120 Ohms with 12 selectable frequencies.

It fully follows Indian Railway Specification IRS- SPN 43/87 This Portable instrument is suitable for field use as it works on an in-built rechargeable battery, provided with a charger and Carry Case. The Digital meter is an Alpha Numeric LCD Display, which is uniformly calibrated to read Decibel scale, with dB, mV, Output Frequency, Impedance, in automatically adjustable Ranges. There are many added features in this new improved model type 368-M, launched in year 2024-25.
